This large, stoneware tumbler was thrown on the wheel and fired to vitrification for strength and durability. A long heat soak at 2300 degrees and a controlled slow cooling allowed the blue glazes over the silky white glaze time to run and mingle.
A little on the thick side to keep milk, iced tea or beer cool longer. I usually have pitchers that match the tumblers.
About 5 1/2 inches high and about 4 inches wide. Holds about 16 ounces.
Food-safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher.
