Something nice for your dog.
This large, stoneware dog bowl was thrown on the wheel and fired to vitrification for strength and durability. A long heat soak at 2300 degrees allowed the glazes time to run, mingle, and produce colors that are rich and complex. (See picture #4.) Check out the drips that make it look like the glaze is still running off the pot. Wider at bottom so it will not tip over and heavy enough to make it harder to slide across the floor.
About 8 1/2 inches wide at top (outside measurement) and 9 1/2 at the bottom. About 3 inches high.
Food-safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher.
