Stoneware Clay. Food Safe Glazes.
This large, stoneware tumbler was thrown on the wheel and fired to vitrification for strength and durability. A long heat soak at 2300 degrees and a controlled slow cooling allowed the glazes to run, pool and develop interesting colors.
About 5 1/4 inches high and about 3 3/4 inches wide. Holds 2 1/4 cups.
Food-safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher.
