This small, stoneware vase was wheel-thrown and fired to 2300 degrees for strength, durability and vitrification (which means it wouldn't leak even if un-glazed). A long heat soak at top temperature and a long, slow cool allowed the glazes time to run, mingle, pool, and produce colors that are varied, rich and complex.

About 3 1/2 inches high and about 3 1/4 inches wide. The opening is about 5/16 inch.
