This stoneware butter keeper was wheel-thrown and fired to 2300 degrees for strength and durability.
About 3 3/4 inches across and 2 1/4 inches high. Holds about one stick of butter.
Pack butter into the lid and add about an inch of cold water to base so that the water creates and airtight seal. As long as your house stays below 80 F and you change the water every few days the butter will stay nice and fresh for several days.
Food-safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher.
