This stoneware bowl was thrown on the wheel, altered, then fired to vitrification for strength and durability. A long heat soak at 2300 degrees and a controlled slow cooling allowed the glaze time to develop depth and variation.
About 12 3/4 inches at the two widest points and 5 inches high.
Food-safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher.
