Easy to grip. Feels good in the hand.
The inside of the bowl is left unglazed so that the slightly rough texture of the stoneware clay makes it easy to whip up lather. Comfortable, no-slip grip.
It was fired to 2300 degrees for strength and durability. Very interesting glaze results. The two glazes ran, pooled and left some places where the clay shows through.
About 5 3/4 inches wide and 3 1/4 high
Food safe and okay in the dishwasher. Also safe in the microwave in case you want to melt shaving soap into the recessed spiral in the bottom of the bowl.
