It is made of a locally dug stoneware clay wheel-thrown and fired to 2300 degrees for strength and durability. The matte yellow glaze works well with the burnt red color of the raw clay.
About 12 inches long and 5 3/4 wide. 3 inches high with an inside depth of 1 3/4 inches. It has a small drainage hole.
There is a small surface crack near the drain hole. I is just a surface crack that doesn't go through the pot and will not get bigger. See picture. The price has been reduced from $78 to $64.
