A small, glazed terracotta planter with a great-looking glaze.
Wheel-thrown locally dug clay that when fired to the right temperature comes out a nice terracotta color and is porous. The glazed part isn't porous. It has a small hole for drainage.
It is fired high enough to be much stronger and more durable than mass produced terracotta pots. The bottom of the saucer was treated with a sealant to keep it from leaking. It also has silicone bumpers to protect furniture.
3 1/4 inches high and 4 3/4 wide.

Pottery is heavy and fragile so shipping is always expensive. I use 200# test boxes, lots of foam and bubble wrap, double-box when necessary and take the time to pack so that you don't get a box full of shards.
