Stoneware Clay. Food Safe Glaze.
This stoneware mug was wheel-thrown and fired to 2300 degrees for strength and durability. A long heat soak at top temperature and a long, slow cool allowed time for the glaze to develop a rich, deep blue and a nice "roll" at the bottom. It has a comfortable one-finger handle.
About3 1/4 inches high and about 4 inches wide. Holds 1 1/2 cups.
Food-safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher.
