This stoneware vase was fired to 2300 degrees for strength and durability. A long heat soak at top temperature and a long, slow cool allowed the glaze time to produce a subtle, satin matte yellow that looks good with the burnt red clay showing through.
The picture of the vase with the flower is just an example of this kind of vase in use.
4 1/4 inches high and about 3 3/4 inches wide at the bottom.
