This terracotta planter was made of wheel-thrown, locally dug clay that when fired to the right temperature comes out a nice terracotta color and is porous. This allows air and water to flow through the pot which prevents root rot and soil disease.
It is fired high enough to be much stronger and more durable than mass produced terracotta pots. It also has a small hole for drainage and a saucer that has been treated with a sealant to keep it from leaking and has silicone bumpers to protect furniture.
5 1/2 inches high and 8 1/4 wide.
The burnt orange color may be a little brighter or duller depending on your computer.
