This large stoneware dog bowl was wheel-thrown and fired to 2300 degrees for strength and durability. The food-safe glaze is a matte slate blue. It holds over a gallon of water.
Wider at bottom so it will not tip over and heavy enough to make it a little harder to push across the floor. It warped a little in the firing so that it is slightly oval.
About 10 1/2 inches wide and 4 inches high. Holds 16 cups.
Food-safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher.
