A freeform, gestural, wood fired bonsai pot.
This wood fired bonsai pot was colored by flames and glazed by the ash in the fire. It was fired in an anagama (Japanese for "cave kiln") stoked with wood every few minutes non-stop for five days. It also has a yellow ash glaze around the sides.
Makes a great planter for succulents, too.
6 3/4 inches at two widest points and 2 1/4 inches high. Inside depth is about 1 3/4 inches. It has a four small drainage holes. Okay indoors or outdoors.
