This stoneware baking dish is ideal for sweet and savory soufflés and it is a great deep dish baker for bread, casseroles, pot pies, roasted vegetables, pasta, baked desserts, chilled mousses, cobblers, puddings and lots more. Straight from oven to table.
It also makes a great water bowl for a dog.
While the glaze drips near the bottom on the outside of the baking dish look good, some of them ran too much and had to be ground off. See picture of bottom. I took $10 off the price because of the slight scaring.
It was made of a red stoneware clay, glazed with a food-safe glaze and fired to 2300 degrees strength and durability.
Food-safe, oven-safe, freezer-safe, microwave-safe, dishwasher safe.
