Stoneware Clay. Food Safe Glazes.
This stoneware bowl was thrown on the wheel and fired to vitrification for strength and durability. A long heat soak at 2300 degrees allowed the glazes time to run, mingle, pool and produce shades of black and white that are varied, rich and complex.
About 12 1/4 inches wide and 4 1/2 inches high.
Food-safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher.
