Stoneware Clay. Food Safe Glazes.
This stoneware bowl was thrown on the wheel and fired to vitrification for strength and durability. A long heat soak at 2300 degrees allowed the glazes time to run, mingle and produce shades of black and white that are varied and complex.
About 7 inches wide and 3 1/4 inches high.
Food-safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher.
