This large stoneware bowl was thrown on the wheel and altered by hand for gesture. It was fired to vitrification for strength and durability. A long heat soak at 2300 degrees allowed the glazes time to develop variegated shades and patterns.
17 inches at two widest points and 6 1/2 at highest point.
Food-safe. Okay in microwave, dishwasher and oven.
