Everything in this shop is handmade and one of a kind.
This stoneware dog bowl was wheel-thrown and fired to 2300 degrees for strength and durability. Slow cooling gave the glazes time to run, pool and develop interesting patterns. In some places the raw clay shows through. (See 4th photo.) What looks like cracks and roughness inside the bowl are just patterns in the glaze. The glaze is smooth.
Makes a good food or water dish for any pet.
9 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches high. Holds 11 cups.
Food-safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher.
I ship within 24 hours of receiving an order. Priority Mail takes 1-4 days. Parcel Select takes 2-9 days.
