This stoneware dog bowl is divided. This slows down the dog that quaffs down food too fast and it provides a way to offer two kinds of food in the same dish. Heavy enough to make it a little harder to push across the floor.
Makes a good serving bowl, especially for chips and dip.
It was thrown on the wheel and fired to vitrification for strength and durability. A long heat soak at 2300 degrees allowed the glaze time to develop depth and variation.
About 7 1/4 inches wide and 2 high.
Food-safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher.
