This stoneware cup and saucer was thrown on the wheel and fired to vitrification for strength and durability. A long heat soak at 2300 degrees allowed the glazes time to run, mingle, pool and produce shades of black and white that are varied, rich and complex.
Great for coffee, cappuccino, latte, hot cocoa and tea but also good as a small soup, cereal and dessert bowl.
About 3 inches high in saucer and about 5 1/4 inches wide. Holds 1 3/4 cups. The saucer is very shallow.
Food-safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher.
