This wood fired pendant necklace was handmade and is one of a kind.
The shard was made of a stoneware clay formulated to take cone 13 (2450 F) wood firings. It was colored by flames and glazed by the wood ash in the fire.
It was fired in an anagama (Japanese for "cave kiln") stoked with wood through the front fire box and the five side ports every few minutes for five days non-stop.
The pendant is about 1 1/4 inches long and 1 inch wide.
The cord is 24 inches long and can be adjusted 1 1/2 inches. If you prefer an 18 inch cord request it when you order.
I ship within 24 hours of receiving an order. Priority Mail takes 1-4 days. Ground Select or Parcel Select takes 2-9 days.
