This small stoneware plate was thrown on the wheel and fired to vitrification for strength and durability. A long heat soak at 2300 degrees allowed the glaze time to run together, deveolp depth, variation and interesting patterns.
Everything in this shop is handmade and one of a kind.
7 1/4 inches wide.
At the time of writing this there were 10 in stock. See second picture. The one you get may or may not be the one pictured alone. They all look very similar but none are exactly alike because they were made by a potter instead of a machine.
