This fluted, white earthenware planter with saucer was handmade and is one of a kind. Like terracotta it is a low-fire clay that is porous. This allows air and water to flow through the pot which prevents root rot and soil disease.
It is fired high enough to be much stronger and more durable than mass produced earthenware pots and traditional native American earthenware. It has a small hole for drainage and a saucer that has been treated with a sealant to keep it from leaking. Okay indoors or outdoors.
