This small planter with saucer is made of white earthenware clay. Like terracotta it is porous. This allows air and water to flow through the pot which prevents root rot and soil disease.
It is fired high enough to be much stronger and more durable than mass produced earthenware pots and traditional native American earthenware. It has a small hole for drainage and a saucer that has been treated with a sealant to keep it from leaking. Okay indoors or outdoors.
Everything in this shop is handmade and one of a kind.
3 1/2 inches high and 5 wide at two widest points. The inside middle is about 3 1/4 inches wide.
