This extra-large, stoneware dog water bowl was thrown on the wheel and fired to vitrification for strength and durability. A long heat soak at 2300 degrees allowed the glaze time to develop depth and variation. Great water bowl big dogs or lots of smaller ones.
4 1/2 inches high. It is oblong (see third picture) so at the widest two points it is 10 1/4 inches and at narrowest two points 9. It holds a whopping 19 cups (over a gallon).
Food-safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher.
