PORCELAIN TEA BOWL

Sorry, this item has sold.

Inspired by tea bowls used in the Japanese tea ceremony, this small white tea bowl is made from a high-fire porcelain made from the purest kaolin in the world -- from a mine in New Zealand. It is a durable and extremely translucent porcelain. It was fired to over 2200 degrees for strength and durability. It is vitrified so it wouldn't leak even if left unglazed. Glazed inside and over about half of the outside with a food-safe clear glaze.

Great for warming your hands around a hot cup of tea or clam chowder or stuffing your face with Haagen-Dazs or as waterproof container for that little potted cactus in the ugly plastic pot, or as a candle holder.

Approximately 3 1/4 inches high and 3 1/2 inches wide. Holds almost a cup.

Food-safe and okay in the dishwasher and microwave.

At the time of writing this there were 8 in stock. The one, or more, you get may or may not include the one pictured above. They are all similar but not exactly alike.
