This stoneware cruet or oil dispenser bottle was wheel-thrown and fired to 2300 degrees for strength and durability. It was slow-cooled to give the glazes time to run and develop depth and variation and "runs" that make it look like the glaze is dripping off the pot. The stainless steel spout uses a counter weight to make it open as you pour and close when you finish with no dripping. It is not glazed inside.
9 inches high and about 3 3/4 wide. It hold 1 1/2 cups.
Everything in this shop is handmade and one of a kind.
Food-safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher with spout removed.
