This small, very translucent porcelain planter was thrown on the wheel and fired to vitrification for strength, durability and translucency. The porcelain clay used to make it is made from New Zealand kaolin—the purest (and most expensive) kaolin in the world. It is unglazed except for a touch of gold on one side. It has a small hole for drainage and a saucer. Okay indoors or outdoors.
Just a drop of shiny gold on the translucent matte porcelain is such a nice juxtaposition.
4 inches high and 6 3/4 at two widest points.
Everything in this shop is handmade and one of a kind.
