This terracotta planter was made of wheel-thrown, locally dug clay that when fired to the right temperature comes out a nice terracotta color and is porous. This allows air and water to flow through the pot which prevents root rot and soil disease. This one does not come with a saucer.
It is fired high enough to be much stronger and more durable than mass produced terracotta pots (which are usually not real terracotta). It has a small hole for drainage. Okay indoors or outdoors.
Everything is this shop is handmade and one of a kind.
4 inches high and 7 3/4 wide. Inside diameter half-way down is about 6 1/2 inches.
The burnt orange color may be a little brighter or duller depending on your screen.
