This small planter was made of white earthenware clay. Like terracotta it is porous. This allows air and water to flow through the pot which prevents root rot and soil disease.
It is fired high enough to be much stronger and more durable than mass produced earthenware pots and traditional native American earthenware. It has a small hole for drainage. Okay indoors or outdoors. This one does not come with a saucer.
Everything in this shop is handmade and one of a kind.
3 inches high and 5 1/2 wide at two widest points. The inside middle is about 3 1/4 inches wide.
