This large, terracotta planter was made of wheel-thrown, locally dug clay that when fired to the right temperature comes out a nice terracotta color and is porous. This allows air and water to flow through the pot which prevents root rot and soil disease.
It is fired high enough to be much stronger and more durable than mass produced terracotta pots. (Many of which aren't real terracotta.) It also has a small hole for drainage and comes with a shard to keep the soil from falling out or the hole becoming clogged. Okay indoors or outdoors. This one does not come with a saucer.
6 1/2 inches high, 11 1/4 wide, and 6 1/4 deep.
