This fluted, terra cotta planter was made of wheel-thrown, locally dug clay that when fired to the right temperature comes out a nice terra cotta color and is porous. This allows air and water to flow through the pot which prevents root rot and soil disease.
It is fired high enough to be much stronger and more durable than mass produced terracotta pots. (Many of which aren't real terracotta.) It has a small hole for drainage and a shard to keep the soil from falling out or the hole becoming clogged. Okay indoors or outdoors.
5 1/4 inches high and 6 wide at the top. The inside middle diameter is about 4 inches.
Everything in this shop is handmade and one of a kind.
