This hanging planter is made of white earthenware clay thrown on the wheel. Like terracotta this clay is porous. This allows air and water to flow through the pot which prevents root rot and soil disease.
It is fired high enough to be much stronger and more durable than mass produced earthenware pots or low-fired earthenware. It has a small drainage hole and a small cork. The rope should be kept out of the soil and dry.
I've gotten a lot of feedback from customers about their plants thriving in these porous hanging planters. The cork can be used to keep the soil from drying out too quickly.
About 3 3/4 inches high and 7 wide. It hangs about 10 inches.
