This stoneware planter with saucer was wheel-thrown and fired to 2300 degrees for strength and durability. It was slow cooled to give the glazes time to run together, pool and develop subtle variations.
It has a small hole for drainage and a crock (a small shard to keep the soil from falling out or the hole becoming clogged). It has a shallow stoneware saucer. Good indoors out out.
4 1/4 inches high and 7 1/2 wide at the top. Inside middle diameter is about 6 inches.
Everything in this shop is handmade and one of a kind.
