This stoneware vase was wheel-thrown and fired to 2300 degrees for strength and durability. A long heat soak at top temperature gave the glaze time to run, pool, and develop interesting patterns. The oblong opening is good for ikebana or just interesting bouquets.
4 1/2 inches high and about 5 1/2 inches at widest part. The hole is about 2 3/4 inches by 1.
