This stoneware vase was wheel-thrown and fired to 2300 degrees for strength and durability. A long heat soak at top temperature gave the glaze time to develop depth and variation. It contrasts nicely with the bunt-red color and texture of the clay.
About 5 inches high and 6 1/4 wide. The hole is about 1 1/8 inches in diameter.
