This planter was made of white earthenware clay. Like terracotta it is porous. This allows air and water to flow through the pot which prevents root rot and soil disease.
It is fired high enough to be much stronger and more durable than mass produced earthenware pots.
It has a small hole for drainage and a small shard to keep the soil from falling out or the hole becoming clogged. Okay indoors and outdoors. This one does not come with a saucer.
4 1/2 inches high and 7 1/2 wide. The inside middle is about 4 wide.
