This handmade, terracotta watering bell was made of locally dug clay that when fired to the right temperature comes out a nice terracotta color. It is fired higher than most terracotta pottery so is much stronger and more durable.
Unlike the stoneware water bells in this shop it will absorb water and stay wet for a while after use.
About 4 1/2 inches high and 3 1/4 in diameter. Holds almost a cup.
Submerge the Watering Bell in water until it is full. Place your thumb over the hole in the top. Hold over the plant needing water and lift thumb off hole to let the water gently rain down. Cover hole again to stop the flow of water.
It matches terracotta planters. It also makes a nice weed pot or vase for a dried flower.
