This stoneware vase was wheel-thrown and fired to 2300 degrees for strength and durability. A long heat soak at top temperature gave the glaze time to develop depth and variation and form some nice "drips" on one side. The glaze contrasts nicely with the bunt-red color and texture of the clay.
About 4 1/4 inches high and 4 3/4 wide. The hole is 3/4 of an inch wide.
Everything in this shop is handmade and one of a kind.
