This stoneware planter with saucer was wheel-thrown and fired to 2300 degrees for strength and durability. It was slow cooled to give the glaze time to develop depth and variation.
It has a small hole for drainage and a crock (a small shard to keep the soil from falling out or the hole becoming clogged). It also has a shallow stoneware saucer. Good indoors out out.
3 1/2 inches high, 7 3/4 wide and 3 deep.
Everything in this shop is handmade and one of a kind.
