This small, gestural planter was fired in a closed saggar filled with coffee grounds to 2300 degrees which turned the red clay a dark iron red.
It has a small hole for drainage and a crock (a small shard to keep the soil from falling out or the hole becoming clogged). It also has a shallow stoneware saucer. Good indoors out out.
It has a rough texture and looks like iron. A cactus would probably look good in it.
3 inches high, 4 1/4 at two widest points. 2 1/2 deep.
