This small, terracotta jack o' lantern was wheel-thrown, hand-carved and carefully finished. Each pumpkin is one of a kind. You get the one pictured here, not just one that looks similar.
It was made of locally dug Georgia red clay that when fired to the right temperature comes out a nice pumpkin color. It is fired high enough to be much stronger and more durable than mass produced terracotta pots. (Which are often not real terracotta.) And, maybe best of all, it will never rot.
Looks great as a dinning table Halloween centerpiece, on the mantel, in the front window or on the front porch, patio, front steps, lawn, pathways, garden, etc.
Lizella Clay is known to potters all over the US and Canada as a great terracotta. It is dug from the banks of Echeconnee Creek, a few miles from my studio. All natural, nothing added.
It comes with a LED tea candle and a real tea candle. The real one will cause the jack o' lantern to get hot.
About 5 1/2 inches high and 4 3/4 wide.
