Something nice for a knitter.
This stoneware yarn bowl with a cane handle was fired to vitrification for strength and durability. A long heat soak at 2300 degrees and a controlled slow cooling allowed the glazes time to mingle, produce colors that are rich and complex and look like they are still running down the side of the bowl. There are no sharp edges to tangle or cut the yarn. The bottom is extra thick for weight to keep the bowl from tipping over.
The cane handle is all natural cane. Even the knot at the top and the rings that hold the handle tight are handwoven cane, not plastic or wire.
About 6 1/2 inches wide and 4 1/2 high.
