This small, stoneware bowl was thrown on the wheel and fired to vitrification for strength and durability. A long heat soak at 2300 degrees allowed the glazes time to run, mingle, pool and produce colors that are varied, rich and complex, and "drips" that make it look like the glaze is still running off the bowl.
About 6 inches at the two widest points and 3 1/4 inches high. It holds about 1 3/4 cups.
Food-safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher.
