This is a "second" and for sale at half-price because it is a little warped and has a couple of small places on the lip where the glaze crawled.
Something nice for your dog.
This stoneware dog bowl was thrown on the wheel and fired to vitrification for strength and durability. A long heat soak at 2300 degrees allowed the glazes time to run, mingle, and produce colors that are rich and complex. (See detail picture #4 above.) Nice drips running off the bottom. Wider at bottom so it will not tip over and heavy enough to make it harder to slide across the floor.
About 6 1/2 inches wide at top and 7 1/2 at the bottom. About 4 inches high. It is taller than normal medium bowls so it makes it harder to scatter dog food across the floor and makes a good water bowl.
Food-safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher.
