This stoneware vase or candle holder was thrown on the wheel slightly off center for gesture and movement. It will hold long stemmed flowers or a tall candle without tipping over.
It was fired to 2300 degrees for strength, durability and vitrification (which means it wouldn't leak even if un-glazed). A long heat soak at top temperature and a long, slow cool allowed the glaze time to produce a blue that are varied and complex.
About 5 inches high and about 4 inches wide at the bottom.
If used as a candle holder you will have to carve the base of the candle down to make it fit tightly and safely.
