This stoneware canister was wheel-thrown and fired to 2300 degrees for strength and durability. A long heat soak at 2300 degrees gave the glaze time to develop a deep, rich color. The lid fits and doesn't fall off when tilted. Makes a good sugar bowl, treat jar, jewelry box, etc.
About 5 1/4 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches high. Holds 1 1/4 cups.
Food-safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher.
