This porcelain incense burner was thrown on a wheel then altered by throwing it on a stone slab then shaped and dried in a cotton sling. It was fired to vitrification for strength and durability. The porcelain is made from New Zealand kaolin which is the purest (and most expensive) kaolin in the world.
About 4 1/4 inches long and 3 1/2 inches wide.
