Stoneware Clay. Food Safe Glaze.
This large, wheel-thrown, stoneware plate was fired to vitrification for strength and durability. A long heat soak at 2300 degrees gave the glaze time to develop a deep, variegated blue.
About 11 3/4 inches in diameter and about 1 1/4 inches high.
Food-safe. Okay in microwave and dishwasher.
