This porcelain bud vase was wheel-thrown and fired to 2300 degrees for strength, durability and vitrification (which means it wouldn't leak even if unglazed). A long heat soak at top temperature and a long, slow cool allowed the blue celadon glaze time to develop a subtle light blue.
About 4 1/2 inches high and about 4 1/2 inches wide. The opening is about 9/16 inch.
